About You

At The Maltings Weybourne, we believe the kitchen is part stage, part canvas — where food, atmosphere, and story come together. You’ll be a Chef de Partie who:

  • Takes pride in preparing fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced dishes, skilfully balancing simplicity and creativity.
  • Embraces our open kitchen environment, bringing energy, precision, and visible passion to each service.
  • Understands cleaning, hygiene, and safety are fundamentals — maintaining high standards in every prep and service.
  • Works well with others: supporting teammates, stepping in where needed, and helping to maintain smooth, thoughtful service.
  • Adapts to changing menus and availability of produce — so flexibility and resourcefulness matter.
  • Is punctual, reliable, and committed; keen to grow in skill and responsibility.

Desirable Experience & Skills:

  • At least 1 year previous kitchen experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques, and dish presentation
  • Awareness (or curiosity) for local suppliers, seasonal produce, and short supply chains (e.g. Goddards of Norfolk, Staithe Smokehouse — those sorts of partnerships we use)
